I know JB says that we won't get as many on the road, but the lack of a transition game is a huge part of why we look like a top 25, not no.1 team right now...yes, yes, yes, we know Fab is out...
My opinion.
Transition buckets are overated. They are the easy way out.
We can always play zone and play it tough for a few possessions with the right players. We can't always get a ton of great transition buckets.
Transition buckets depend on what defenses give you. All it takes is two guys to get back and slow your drive to the rim down alittle bit forcing you to make a extra pass to try to speed it up which in turn allows m0re defenders to get back.
On top of that Our Forwards and Bigs have got to get the ball in transition and have to fly full speed to get it.
Thets not pretend syracuse needs transition to make up for not so good half court offense every year.
I like transition as one of our trademarks I don't like it as a need.
