Main gripe after tonight's game: while all four guards seemed eager to break downcourt on a missed Fordham shot, our rebounders were very tentative in making quick outlet passes.
A very underrated aspect of Ricky's game was his passing, not just in the half-court but also in feeding guards after a rebound. Fab, Keita, Christmas, and Southerland all seem hesitant to fire a quick pass; Joseph loves to take a couple dribbles upcourt before distributing the ball. All allow the defense to recover and limit our transition opportunities (which will probably be this team's best scoring opportunities).
Something to watch going forward. Hopefully our rebounders get a bit more confident in finding guards who have leaked out.
