I dont think it was pena who fumbled, he isn't listed in the stats having any returns. Could be wrong was flipping between 5 games when it happened.

Since when was he getting drafted? He had 1 good season which seems mostly because of Kyle McCord and Jeff Nixon. He didn't do anything before them, or looks like after them. Just as Fran said he's not paying for a 5'10 slot WR.

These are professional athletes. I have no problem being happy he is having a terrible season after taking off to Penn St of all places after 1 good season.

Wasn't it more the way he went about it rather than actually being worried about the team?

Everything I gathered was that Pena was more worried about his own stat lines this year and his own future than the team's success.

So I'm going to continue rooting for him by checking his unimpressive stat line and hoping those checks clear from that cult in Central PA.

Based off of last year then he would’ve built off of that for this year and potentially could have had all ACC and get drafted.

Angeli was floated last year but we got McCord.
Pena left because he asked for more money after agreeing to a deal in December for more money.
Fran told him to back his bags.

So much false narrative floating around.
I highly doubt Fran did not tell EVERYONE what the QB plan was, that's how he kept OG last year.

I think you may be right. It was #5, who the announcer incorrectly said was Pena.
