Now we have a guy that comically brands himself as the “Point God”

We all forget how complete a player Triche was. He played both ends of the floor. Compare his toughness to our current guards. WOW!

Not to compare these 2 players bc they are differént, but Triche had some Moten type smoothness, craftiness & the wörd I am looking for is just not coming to me...sly, unexpected, deceitful...?
Which usually leads to underappreciation.
Every team needs a Triche.
And that charge call will forever be burned into my memories and I will be able to envision that til my end of times.
I could by no means afford that F4 trip at the time but i splurged, had alot of fun and splurged even more to experience some Augusta Masters week.

This will come off as an insult and it’s not meant to. Triche was a guy that was steady and really good. But always overshadowed by better athletes or more explosive players. I would kill for a triche right now. Amazing how much our teams have changed from that time.

That was beautiful. And sad. It’s good and also quite uncomfortable to be confronted with such a delta between both our players’ talent and the quality of the game, now vs then.

Eh I don't know. I think until his injury Triche was as explosive and athletic as any guard we have had. Strong too. Great here but always thought there was a top end he didn't reach a lot.
