Love it. Showing some aggression. Even if it had to be an elbow to the face.

Kid reached in and fouled him, grabbed his arm. If the refs aren't going to call fouls, you have to make a defender think twice about getting in that close.

So stupid how it's not like the NBA where the player gets all the space he needs, in college they just face guard you like Louisville.

It wasn't intentional at all. Not Triche's style. If guys are gonna get up inside a guys skin on D like this, they are gonna get drilled again and again.

It wasn't intentional but Triche was playing with much more confidence and aggression which was beautiful to see.

That defender learned something though.

When I was growing up we were taught to "make space" when people were guarding you that close, nothing intentional, but if they get caught with an elbow or shoulder while you were making a move, its the price they paid for getting so damn close.

He sure have made sure his trunk was moving faster. Would have been no problem if he'd done that.

As a lot of the announcers mentioned ALL SEASON, the rule is stupid not because of the no NBA space rule but because it's flagrant 1 no matter what as soon as there is contact. No room for refs to make judgement calls.

Basically defenders bend wayyy down into the elbow and it's still auto flagrant 1. NCAA needs to restrict it to where the offensive player had to be reaching up or something. Right now it's just dumb, these morons stick their face into the elbow and with no NBA space rule there is no where for the defender to spin. As soon as he does, that guy's face in the way.

Basically gives new meaning to the term "face guarding". Literally sticking your face into opponents elbows trying to draw BS flagrants. Saw a non-Syracuse game earlier this season (forgot who was playing) and the guy turning his torso was falling/leaning AWAY from defender. Defender still stuck his face there, and of course-auto flagrant 1. What a joke.
