Mike Williams?Nice 2 point conversion catch for Jackson from Dobbs for the Vikings… bet nobody saw that combo coming! When was the last time a Syracuse WR scored points in the league?
Looks like he's their number 4 receiver.Former Syracuse WR Trishton Jackson makes Vikings’ initial 53-man roster

Really? He had one of the best seasons for a WR in school history. With some of the recievers we had in that same era, I didn't think he would be the one that made when they didn't. Good for him.
Following AET and Steve Ishmael, I thought they were better. They had record breaking seasons and Ishmael was voted 1st team all-american. I especially thought the physicality and great hands Ishmael showed as a senior would allow him to stick. Jackson had a great year for us but was less consistent. He's done a great job sticking and growing.Really? He had one of the best seasons for a WR in school history.
I think any of them could have stuck. It's possible that Jackson has embraced hard work with little return for longer than others were willing to? Or that maybe he has that extra little "twitch" coaches talk about. As far as the others being better at SU...I think the others played in a more prolific offense with a dual threat QB than Jackson did.Following AET and Steve Ishmael, I thought they were better. Gotcha, I am surprised Ishmael didn't translate to the NFL. AET I think was the perfect guy at the perfect time. He made Dungey lobbing a duck deep down the sideline as best he could into not just a viable play, but a lethal one.Following AET and Steve Ishmael, I thought they were better. I think that was certainly the case with AET. I thought Ishmael abused DBs as a senior and his hands were glue. I remember Jackson having a few drops. I think your second sentence is really likely. It's a credit to his perseverance.I think any of them could have stuck. It's possible that Jackson has embraced hard work with little return for longer than others were willing to? Ishmael could barely get separation in college. Loved him as a college player but I don’t think his skill set was a match in the NFL.I think that was certainly the case with AET. I thought Ishmael would be a possession guy in the NFL. Steve Young has said nobody is really open in the NFL. I thought he'd be physical enough to use his body and accurate NFL QBs would get it to him. I thought his hands would be good enough for him to be reliable. My thoughts were clearly wrong. I never had as much confidence in AET. I remember Jackson having a few frustrating What drops the year he was here. That gets you cut quick in the NFL. He clearly worked hard and fixed that. It's great to see guys stick to it and maximize their chance.Ishmael could barely get separation in college. Loved him as a college player but I don’t think his skill set was a match in the NFL.
Etta Tawo had suspect hands coming into his one year at SU. Maybe it was a lucky year or whatever. Thought he was a stud the one year he was with us. Could have also benefited from the surprise of the new offense he was playing in.
