look no further than Wendell Alexis. At the 2 minute mark of this highlight video, there are 2 baseline jumpers that I see TRob adding in his last 2 years, making him a nice threat, a 3rd option next year and 2nd option as a Sr. They have similar size and demeanor too, quiet and workman like. WA had more points and rebounds at this point in his career, but only averaged 9.6 and 6 as a Jr., then shot up to 15 and 7 as a Sr. No reason to think TRob can't do the same.

The game has changed. It looks like all those guys were 20 pounds lighter than today's players. And, they played the game 6 inches lower than the current athletes.

I do love the way Wendell used the backboard.

Was trob shooting 3's in HS? I thought I remember reading that he was capable of making the occasional 3.

There was no college 3-point line (except the 18-foot experimental line in the ACC) until the year after Alexis graduated.

[Sorry. I mis-read your question as regarding Alexis.]

Roberson shot some three's in high school but to my eyes (and I saw Roberson play in person in high school) his shot always looked like a work-in-progress, especially from long range.

Apples to oranges. wendell did not start until his senior year. he was good enough to get frafted by the NBA although not good enough to stick.
