On a football note, there's some story (which I don't recall the details) involving an action of Trump, I assume in his ownership role with the New Jersey Generals, ithat had the effect of tanking the entire World Football League.
that would be the Original USFL not the WFL and essentially, he bankrupted the league with an anti-trust lawsuit against the NFL that the USFL won, only to be awarded a total sum of $1

Will President Vance follow through on this is the question.

That's a nice sentiment and all, but politicians doing things (or claiming to do things) is inherently political.

And sorry if it hurts anyone's feelings but the title "President Trump Saves College Sports" is clownish and the type of claim we should expect from North Korea, not the United States of America. This isn't normal, we shouldn't pretend it's normal, and there was a time when America was greater than this kind of performative leadership.
I think that is an insult to North Korea

Oh I open a can of worms here.. admin’s please lock and delete this post.. good lord. Just so we are clear this was NOT A political post good lord!! SMH
How can an executive order issued by the President not be a political act?

Have we completely lost the ability to think critically in this country?

Now, when POTUS attends a college football game, THAT, in and of itself, may not be a political act.

Do we need to draw pictures for folks to help figure this out?

It tends to be a left leaning echo chamber in here. If the other side starts posting stuff watch how quick it gets shut down for being political..

I am rhetorically begging for someone to go to bat and explain what this EO accomplished and how it achieved the stated objectives of saving college sports.

A picture would be helpful, yes.

And I'd like to think I'm referring to a properly designed and labeled diagram, but, honestly a hastily drawn picture in crayon would help me immensely.

Yes, logic and morals are almost exclusively the domain of the left these days.

When the other side is doing somersaults to cover up a situation that would make Joe Paterno throw up in his mouth, there's only one side you can choose if you're a moral person.

Not taking the bait. I'm here for football.

Man you just committed a Cardinal sin. You don't ever post anything positive about Trump in here. The haters come out in droves.

We haven't established that it's positive yet. It would be great if someone, Trump supporter or otherwise, could explain how this EO will be of benefit.

The best effort we've had at that was Go providing a historical note about a President's previous involvement in college football.

Sounds like enforcement of the third-party pay for play shenanigans is still a major question.

Things are going to be messy for at least a few more years, but I'm glad to finally see some movement here. I don't think the EO really moves the needle much, unless it keeps momentum towards more comprehensive legislative action.
