We keep reading tea leaves. The player himself says he is healthy and wants the ball more, and the HC says the player is healthy and needs to get the ball more.

He will if he doesn't want other teams to think he's injured. Regardless, he needs more than 5 carries. If he can't carry it more than that, he shouldn't play. If he can, give him the ball.
