Question about our stud rb. why doesn’t Tuck use his stiff arm much. I seen 4 plays that I remember him not using it and one time he got tackled pretty hard. If he used it he woulda got more yards. Shouldn’t that be a common thing for a rb.
I think he knows 1) he can outrun them with elite, breakaway speed in even modest space, and 2) a stiff arm forces contact unnecessarily considering #1Question about our stud rb. why doesn’t Tuck use his stiff arm much. It just seems every great back has a good stiff Arm.I think he knows 1) he can outrun them with elite, breakaway speed in even modest space, and 2) a stiff arm forces contact unnecessarily considering #1
I think he has one, but unless he is on a line to the end zone and a defender has a good angle at him, why use it? It would slow him down when he can simply stride out and outrun them instead. He's a sprinter, a turbo charged sports car who can simply separate from any defender with one step.It just seems every great back has a good stiff Arm.
This is like asking why that really hot girl doesn’t where a heel that’s 1/100th an inch higher.Question about our stud rb. why doesn’t Tuck use his stiff arm much. It shifts the equilibrium point and causes deceleration. Tucker has incredible balance and a Ferrari engine. What you suggest would shift that balance and cause his engine to throttle backwards. You don’t treat a Ferrari like a Wrangler.Question about our stud rb. why doesn’t Tuck use his stiff arm much. I seen 4 plays that I remember him not using it and one time he got tackled pretty hard.
