Otto Porter Jr. Named BIG EAST Player of the Week

Syracuse Mention

“The biggest thing the NCAA was able to charge Baylor with after a lengthy investigation is that the staff got kinda crazy with their iPhones,” Gary Parrish wrote in a column on CBSSports.com. “The NCAA didn't find an agent funneling a prospect to the program (as was found at Connecticut under Jim Calhoun) or a fraudulent SAT score (as was found at Memphis under John Calipari) or a compromised drug policy (as was found at Syracuse under Jim Boeheim).

All the rumors of cheating seemed to boil down to this: Baylor did the impossible, so Baylor must be a cheat. Baylor outrecruited other Texas schools for McDonald’s All-Americans like Tweety Carter and Perry Jones III (both from neighboring Louisiana) and Isaiah Austin (from Dallas), so Baylor must be a cheat. Baylor made more Elite Eights in the past three years than Duke, Syracuse, UCLA or Indiana, so Baylor must be a cheat."

Admittedly, no game tape has been broken down on my end so I could be wrong about this, but it concerns me a lot that in tough games, against quality guards the sophomore has issues creating scoring chances for teammates - and that is when the team is at its best.

This is my favorite line from the 3 things to feel not-so-good about...

So, in other words, I really have no idea what I'm talking about because I haven't bothered to do any research or prep work for this article but I am still worried about it...

Let's see Parrish was this Jim BoeHeims Policy or Syracuse University's? Did this pertain to ALL Students or just Basketball Players , Spin City Journalism again

I remember Shump's game against UConn like it was yesterday. After he hit the first 3 or 4 deep ones, he started looking up at his girlfriend in the stands and was blowing her kisses. A tremendous performance.
