If he keeps it up and stays healthy, the tale of Nicky Galasso may be the comeback story of the year. The former highly-touted recruit and ACC rookie of the year at North Carolina in 2011 is now playing his senior season at Syracuse. In an indication of the injuries and lack of playing time that followed since his great freshman year and a transfer to central New York, Galasso wasn't picked in January's Major League Lacrosse draft. But he's currently running on Syracuse's first midfield and after a good preseason, put in three goals in the Orange's rout of Siena.
