Turgeon-Howard Scuffle

You can hear Turgeon on TV telling him "don't hang the banner because your banners come down."

good zinger. i guess that punch landed.

Turgeon just said in the presser that all he said was "Don't talk to me"
Yeaaaa right lol

Edit- Turgeon said he called the league and NCAA offices after the first two games. Told them he "wouldn't put up with it in the third game" Was standing up for himself and his program

Howards over here saying he acted in self defense after Turgeon charged at him. Said that's how he was raised, how his grandma raised him, how chicago raised him, how south side raised him. When a grown man charges you, you react.

Really?

This is going to come off as harsh, but I think this is a borderline fireable offense. You just cant have that. I guess a lengthy suspension would do. But the coaches 100% need to be the law and order and discipline on the bench. If you lose that, who else does it?
For which coach? I also think it is never acceptable for a coach to talk to a player on the other team.

you can't have your coach tying to fight another coach. Howard's explanation was that when a man charges you then it is okay to defend yourself. That's weak and not how a coach should act. He basically is giving his players the ok to fight if they feel wronged. He needs to lead by example. I would hope the Michigan AD sits him down and says we love everything about you but no more of this crap. Now if they play Uconn in the 2nd round and Howard body slams Hurley then all is okay.

Cuse

I mean Howards recruiting will never fall off if he wins a title soon he'll be on track to be one of the best coaches ever.

Players love it when the coach loses his and gets pissed off. At all levels. Even in youth sports parents doing it and melting on the refs is not cool but when the coach does it its cool.

I would pay good money to see Juwan body slam Hurley after knocking out his front teeth.

Fireable offense ! Your comment that it’s a fireable offense is more of a fireable offense
