Hi Guys,
Am down in Roatan, Honduras with only my slow dial-up internet and Direct TV with a 6' dish antenna, which brings in good reception. ESPN 3 does not work for me. However I have Apple TV. Can some of you brighter people tell me how to get ACC games? Great if you can. Had to use OAA radio for the last game. Nice, but TV would be better, for sure.
Thanks,

You should be able to use your directTV credentials to view espn3 on your apple TV. It is probably called "watchESPN".

Scott, how do you make Apple TV work with dial up? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your setup.

VPN to USA and espn3 will work. Download betternet

CUSU, i followed your instructions and WatchEspn came up just fine on Apple TV. The screen shows lots of choices. i clicked on "College Football" and more selections came up. Will the SU v. Wake game be one of these selections on Saturday? If so, great! I also found an ACC Sports app near the Watch ESPN app. I went into it and saw SU highlights from the RI game. This is cool. As to Scooch who asked if dial-up works...yes. I just plugged it in. But It is slow. Internet functions okay. I can get Netflix movies down here with it w/o a streaming problem as long as it isn't raining very hard. But downloading a "pay for" movie from Apple is the pits. Takes forever...so I avoid that and just use Netflix for $7.99 per month.. Now I have WatchEspn and an ACC app, too. Hope I can see some games. Sorry to be way behind the curve with this stuff. Am Spending most of my time fishing and bike rides (Super Tenere) up in the Honduran Mountain region...but now that football season is here, I am amped to watch this new freshman class as SU goes 7-5. Thanks to you all for helping me out! I really appreciate it. Scott

Dude, I can't help you with your TV issues. But I am jealous that you are in Roatan. Spectacular place. Best diving in the western hemisphere maybe. Lucky guy.
