Oh man, these videos just got me pumped to see Lydon playing for us again this year. Just an incredible basketball IQ that really makes him a ton of fun to watch. Really hope he manages well being a much bigger focus of the defense this time around, though I think our balance will really help offset that since we should often be able to make teams pay for doubling up on anyone. It seems unlikely that we'll see '10-11 Kris Joseph "The Man" syndrome again. On a side note, these videos also made me miss those beautiful passes that Mal had a knack for.

Man, this kid is special. Love how he runs the floor, finds his opening, and then calls for the ball.

His offensive game really doesn't have much weakness. The way he rolls strong off the pick, or pops out for the shot is beautiful. He doesn't hesitate in his decisions, and just has a natural fluidity for the game.

Cannot wait for this year.

I think he has great potential.

Only thing that bothered me about his game last year was his tendency to not take some open shots. I found myself saying "take the shot" and he'd pass the ball off. He certainly wasn't selfish.

Just my own opinion, but I think last year Tyler was deferring to the upperclassmen. I don't believe that is going to happen this year.

Yup, that's the way I see it too. Changing of the guard, and this new guard's got some bite!
