This is their "Bookend" approach. They antagonize all things Orange on both the front end and the back end of the season. With the ridiculous amount of money they extort from institutions of higher learning you'd think they could expedite the due diligence required to clear two players for a high visibility program which will be acting as ambassadors of the US and the NCAA. I wonder if the NCAA had to get clearance from the World Boxing Council prior to approving Georgetown's bout with the Chinese National Team.

I'm not saying that the teams we've fielded the last few years have the same caliber of top end talent as the golden era teams of the late 80s, but just scrutinize that roster for a minute: not one weak link. Not one subpar prospect. Not one kid who you can point to as never going to play.

Its been that way for several years, and I think that our exceptional talent has not only made us very successful these past four years, but it will also enable us to really make a run at the national championship at some point in the near future.

No, sorry, I wish. I just meant that since Flacusian was responding to a Bishop Kearny reference, that I used the name Chinonso instead of Tyler. No new news on either, but I have been scouring sources for days.

Apologies, brother. I didn't mean to mislead. I have a feeling this is all on the NCAA, and you know how busy they must be with bball right now.

Also, I might be able to get this info nearly first hand, but I don't want to pry to be honest. Probably a really frustrating process for both of these young men.

I don't know that its safe to assume that--it sounded like he did what he needed to in summer school to raise his core GPA.

Let's hope.
 
if beast is cleared- eve with getting mccullough next year- arguably can we not say this years teams' ceiling is one of the highest we have ever had? I dont just mean contender- i mean in every dept from reg season , tourney to how we do against top comp. Certainly there is no way to know if they will hit it but wow- everything coming together would make this group one of the best we have ever had.

I like McCullough but I need to see quite a bit more fire and assertiveness from him to think he's going to be a stud. I don't want to see him be a big who only shoots jumpers and floats around.
