I'll be watching. Can't believe Nate Robinson's getting in the ring too! He's fighting youtuber Jake Paul, whoever that is. It's obviously pure carni curiosity and spectacle. I'm sure my brother and I will bet each other anyways.

Found a stream and found it to be hilarious. Nate Robinson getting knocked out cold was easily the highlight of the night. Tyson actually looked in pretty good shape and Jones just held on for the majority of the 8 rounds and prevented a fun fight and probably made a good decision for his well being.

Agree with all that. It wasn't the worst thing, but the old guys were as good or better than expected imo. Honestly it was flipped for what I predicted, as far as the shape and movement of Tyson and Jones Jr. This was before any training videos, etc.

I’m sorry I’m the biggest Mike apologist ever and he got destroyed. It wasn’t close. Roy unfortunately looked like he was about to drop dead afterwards but he did what he always did. Win.

Ok after spending way too many days at saint francis de sales boxing club in Utica I hate to say the paul kid is like legit. I wouldn’t say he can compete with the big boys but he would stand out in any gym.

You think Mike lost? No way, I think he won and I can't stand Mike. He connected more power punches and otherwise, and was the aggressor. I thought Roy ran too much and didn't connect enough. We got some good laughs out of last nights commentary, not just Snoop but the boxer (I forgot who he was) that was in the booth also.

Pearl remind me not to recommend you as a boxing judge. Tyson pitched a shutout and I was rooting for Jones Jr. Tyson landed way more significant shots while Jones pretty much ran for his life.

Totally concur with your assessment. The two other commentators were Sugar Ray Leonard - u remember him, right? and Israel Adesanya (UFC champ). Not here nor there but the play by play guy (Marlo) is highly annoying and sounds like a WWE clown.

I was watching the fight with my son and two of his friends. They all bet on Tyson through Draft Kings. When the fight was announced as a draw the looks on their faces was priceless. None of us thought Jones had won even one round. Thankfully, Draft Kings refunded everybody's bets.

One thing I was surprised about with Tyson was that he was in phenomenal shape for a guy his age.

All those guys minus Sugar Ray of course (gotta have one serious boxer), cracked me up all night. I have to say, my brother and I just wanted to catch some entertainment on the carni level, while we caught up, and it didn't disappoint.

One comment about the prelim, this Jake Paul dude was calling out Conor McGregor after the fight. McGregor is a far better UFC fighter than a boxer but he'd take care of this loud mouth in a hurry. Those long looping punches that Paul throws would be returned with quick accurate shots that would send him to the canvas.

One thing I was surprised about with Tyson was that he was in phenomenal shape for a guy his age.

Another thing is we couldn't wait to see Tyson, because we walked directly past Tyson in Vegas almost exactly a year ago, when we went to the Wilder v Ortiz fight. We felt sad for him, he was being escorted around by the arm from some guy, and he was wearing a red coat, that made him look like he weighed 300 lbs. So when they say he lost 100lbs we totally believe it. We were analyzing him saying we couldn't believe he could move like that and how good of shape he was in. My brother said that night in Vegas we saw him, he must've been ...d up on something or drunk.

I seriously thought and witnessed mike gasping for shots. Maybe Roy had a little bit more discipline idk. I really don’t think it was close.
