UCONN Attendance Thread

They’ve been great these past few years?? I believe every game last year (except Miami ) my old season ticket that is now in the student section was empty. And the Miami game was Thanksgiving weekend so students weren’t on campus. Bad look.
Season long lease on tickets. The school is free to allocate as they see fit.

Don't get me started on the student section. It's always empty.

I just think they need to scale back a few sections.

SU should take back 127,126 and 119,120 and then on the 3rd deck 330,329,325,326

This would make the section look more full and also help with opening up more season tickets.

Certainly agree but I'm guessing SU will want 2-3 seasons of this to be sure before making the move.

You're 100% right.

If it's rainy on Saturday, should we reach out to the Red Cross to have them provide umbrellas to people who may be hesitant about attending the game due to having to brave the elements for 6 minutes each way to walk from their parking lot to the Dome and back?

Everyone is fighting a personal battle you don't know about. For some, it's the threat of getting their hair wet.

He gets it, right message!

If I can handle it after living in Arizona for the past 15 years, then everyone else can. I only do monsoon rain but not regular rain, but I am not the least bit hesitant to be there Saturday. Last year I tailgated for the first home game and it was absolutely pouring out. I had on a raincoat, and a poncho. I am again prepared for the normal rain Saturday.

Ticketmaster sets a minimum for resale, or SU does. I can't list mine in the corner on the downhill side for less than $29.00. Is that something new? Anyone want two aisle seats in 306 for $30?

Let’s talk about Archbold.

Those were mostly bad SU teams in the 70s and if the worst thing was getting your hair wet….

But it was on such a day that the Orangemen beat UDub and Warren Moon.

The Dome is a palace in comparison.

230 tickets sold yesterday by my count. I'll track today and tomorrow as well, I've got my map screenshots ready to go lol.

If that pace stays the same, I think we're looking at a 38k crowd. If it picks up I think its possible to get to 40k, but we will see. Thursdays and Fridays are usually better days than 230 from what I've counted in the past. Last year I thought Stanford would get to 40k and that ended up around 39K. The map looks similar currently
275 tickets sold today. No bueno. Crowd is trending towards fine, average. I'm still thinking 38k

I noticed that too. I think it is new.

Why should TM have any control over what you want to resell a ticket for if you want to take a loss? Unless their cut is more than the cost of the ticket like a flat rate.

Google says the event organizer controls how the resale pricing works.

I have a feeling SU is trying to limit cheap tickets. Dont they get more from you buying a new ticket vs a resold one?

Didn't think this needed it's own thread, but doesn't look like too bad of a deal to park illegally vs paying for one of the garages or Skytop.

Edited to change font just in case people didn't get that this was a joke. I am not promoting parking illegally.

I hope someone helps him understand that attendance is also a lagging indicator. We may be poised for a big 2026 but fans will only remember 2025 when renewing or cancelling.

I will renew every year of my useless life.

Will the wifi in the Dome be better this season. I'll be there anyway with my three season tickets but it really is a pain.

Its a good sign that they are not holding back huge swaths of tickets, so things look better than they are.

What we see is mostly what is left to buy
