UConn Gameday...

We really are not playing bad at all. We have more first downs and total yards than UConn. In two out of our three drives we have marched right down the field.

It’s three stupid plays: the lousy sneak, 3rd and long screen, and clown show 4th down play that killed us.

We're really blaming Angeli for that? He was drilled right away. He got rid of it quick and still got hit as he was throwing
Not blaming him for that. Was a clean blitzer and everyone dies in that situation.

He doesn’t have the arm to zip the ball. Invest in learning the guy who has it.

Why on a 4th down, after a timeout, is your QB and RB still looking at the sideline with 7 seconds on the play clock? Nixon gets a lot of praise but his system looks indecisive and is putting the offense in a bad position before every play.
I guess his system relies on a Mensa level QB.

And it was terrible plays that killed us last week. If we are going to out-mistake the other team, we will rarely win.

Angelli doesn’t have a pocket to step into and throw. Not sure how he’s even getting the ball to receivers down field

UCONN playing like a bunch of little brothers who just hit puberty.

This is an awful performance
I'd like to hear more about your comment that we ask the linebackers to do too much.

I don't understand this defense.

We ask the four defensive linemen to get pressure on their own.

We ask our linebackers to do too much.

We put our corners on islands.

Who exactly should have an easy job?

Even with Mack out the OL has been fine. Everyone here thinks an OL should give the QB 10 seconds of clean protection every snap. Right now there is just very poor pocket presence. That can be mitigated with a QB with an ability to extend plays. Right now that is not Angeli.

That far official is also doing a terrible job spotting the ball. He also called the fumble that clearly wasn't one.

Except... he's done that a few times today.
