This 3rd down defense is indefensible. We have been consistently terrible. We dropped 8 on a screen and let him get 13/14 yards. I hate EROB as a DC, I’m sorry. He’s shown nothing

So regarding blitzing or not, we've kept five players on the LOS on a few plays. It's possible we're sending five on plays like that when it's a pass, but they're coming from when they lined up and they're linemen and EDGE defenders so it isn't exotic at all.

So it's possible the issue isn't number of rushers, but how they're being sent.
