Am I overreacting, what is the long term damage for a loss like this?

Honestly, it depends on what happens the weeks after that. Unless we were hoping to get into the playoffs, this year wasn't supposed to be stellar. But if we lose this game and play well the rest of the season it'll just be looked at as a missed opportunity for a better record.

Going to put this out there before the inevitable narrative after the game... I don't want to hear anything about loyalty in not going to Collins here. What about loyalty to the rest of the team to give them the best chance to win?

This completely. Sometimes players are off. The fact that Fran refuses to make a change is concerning. How bad is Collins if he cannot get in the game. Fran continued to say he has two good qbs but does not appear that why when you refuse to make a change.
