No deep threat = no variation = defense crowds underneath = safeties collapse = every pass challenged.

Tough to score this way. Something must change or it will be a tough year.

There's nothing I despise more than a staff that thinks they're the smartest in the room. I've had to deal with this crap with the Yankees for years, now it's spilled over to Cuse.

If it really was neck and neck out of fall camp, not sure how colli s does not get a shot at this point. Gill has been running by the outside corner all game. Angeli has come off read early consistently. On underneath stuff he is not trusting his eyes. It does not get more open than a guy with no one within 5 yards of him. But he is not trusting it and the ball is late coming out.

Maybe they think Angeli is significantly better than Collins, but doesn't have a full grasp of the offense/playbook yet? I mean you still need to go to the backup here to give yourself the best chance, but it would at least make more sense.

I think Fran’s “loyalty” leads to him punting on making tough decisions. He can punt on doing the right thing and then chalk it up to loyalty to his guys.

It’s hard to figure out this program anymore. Just never seems we can find consistency year over year. It’s a new head coach in year 2 who can recruit against anyone but the rest is now very much a big question mark.

This game reminds me of the Mayland game in 2019.

The day all the air came out of the ballon.

That was worse. MD absolutely dominated us in every facet of the game. This feels like crap but the MD game was an actual, huge butt kicking.
