UCONN is broken, and I mean all busted up.

embarrassing performance. I hope they lose by 40

does this hasten Calhoun's return...or make hime stay out permanently?

We need to put them out of their misery on Saturday.

Hopefully they don't get inspired to play decent basketball this weekend. I prefer the crappy version of UConn.

The sad part about tonight is that I was kind of hoping that they beat Louisville. Since that didn't happen, I'm glad they lost by 40.

we will get their best shot on saturday, mark that down. they are a jumpshooting team and if all the guys are shooting well look out.

Do your worst, uconn.

We are substantially better than them, and I expect to take it to them on Saturday.

If he has spinal stenosis , it is going to take more than a loss to hasten his return

Two years ago, a #3 ranked 23-1 SU hosted a slumping 14-9 UConn team sans-Jim Calhoun, and they gave us absolutely all we could handle. We better be ready on Saturday.
that's all i'm saying, if it's anyone else i say we roll them, but yukon has a special place in their hearts for syracuse.

Local papers are saying he likely needs surgery - that would take him out for the rest of the year and, honestly, who knows if he'll ever return.

Except they aren't a jumpshooting team.

And Shabazz Napier is the most NBA ready point guard in the league...

Weren't you saying a month ago that UConn was still a very good team?

They stink. Period.

There is no doubt uconn is talented, but looking at their season, nobody is set in their roles besides lamb. The problem is when lamb does not play well they have no chance. Uconn is terrible in the half court, and they have used about 15 different starting lineups this year. Their players aren't accepting their roles like ours are. Our wing players are a lot better than theirs, and when I say wing players I will take fair, Joseph, Triche, and dion, over smith, lamb, Giffey and Daniels, and that's not close. Boatright is talented, but he is not as seasoned as scoop. Drummond and melo are a wash. The one advantage they should have on us is having oriakhi, but for some reason he has regressed this year. I firmly believe this is because Calhoun and blaney have not been able to get their players in set roles. Unlike us, the uconn players don't know who's starting and they don't know how much time they will play. Our guys have accepted their roles and have played great together as a team, while uconn has been uneasy and fighting within. This is why we have been winning, and they have been struggling.

Well, I was at the game. What a wild place in 2nd half. Drummond does NOT impress me, unless it was just a bad game. Fab will eat him up if he plays well. Boatright is good...very quick. Lamb sure didn't step up.

It was great seeing the UConnvicts embarrassed. Watch out for UofL, they are coming on strong. Will be going to Syracuse game here next Monday.

The kind of embarrassing loss that can make a team angry and get them to focus. Plus they have 4 days of practice to prepare for the zone. I'd rather they had lost a competitive game with Ville.

Were you sporting a Cuse shirt? What did the Ville fans say?

No Calhoun, won't matter.

Yep, I was basing it on talent and on Calhoun coaching that talent. Guess you must be Nostradamus.

Call me crazy, but I like being a part of that game, even in the losing effort. Doesn't rain on my parade.

UConn made the Final Four that year.

I make that trade 10 times out of 10.
