UCONN is broken, and I mean all busted up.

Uconn loosing by 20.
Ahhhhhhhh!!!

Have to watch myself when we play them. So much hate I don't want to remember they are on the floor.

Were you sporting a Cuse shirt? What did the Ville fans say?

No, not for this game. Just wait til next Monday. It will be interesting since it is supposed to be a white out fan night and I sit in student section (my daughter gets me tics who attends UofL), so I would stick out like a sore thumb and probably get heckled a lot. But hey, Cuse is the team. Matter of fact, my daughter will go for SU too...I knew I raised her right!

does this hasten Calhoun's return...or make hime stay out permanently?
When I read that Calhoun was taking time off of coaching because of "shooting pains" my first thought was yeah that team has shooting pains alright. Then I chastized myself for for my bad thought towards a man who is ill. At age 70 the guy obviously loves coaching to be still doing it. And not to be able to do it only has to make his condition worse. Just look at Coach Paterno.

There is no doubt uconn is talented, but looking at their season, nobody is set in their roles besides lamb. The problem is when lamb does not play well they have no chance. Uconn is terrible in the half court, and they have used about 15 different starting lineups this year. Their players aren't accepting their roles like ours are. Our wing players are a lot better than theirs, and when I say wing players I will take fair, Joseph, Triche, and dion, over smith, lamb, Giffey and Daniels, and that's not close. Boatright is talented, but he is not as seasoned as scoop. Drummond and melo are a wash. The one advantage they should have on us is having oriakhi, but for some reason he has regressed this year. I firmly believe this is because Calhoun and blaney have not been able to get their players in set roles. Unlike us, the uconn players don't know who's starting and they don't know how much time they will play. Our guys have accepted their roles and have played great together as a team, while uconn has been uneasy and fighting within. This is why we have been winning, and they have been struggling.

This is pretty accurate. The potential NBA talent individually may be higher than Cuse at certain positions, but UConn has no concept of how to play like a team/unit on offense. Throw in the fact they just gave up and Calhoun is out, I think many of you get your wish of a 20+ point win.

To the poster who said they weren't impressed with Drummond. He has been majorly up and down. He has serious issues with older more mature players. I expect him to play poorly against Fab who has 3 years on him.

Honestly, they looked sick and tired as a team, like there was a major outbreak that caused them not to travel well. Jeremy Lamb looked like he needed his blankey and some vitamins. How did they win it all last year? amazing

You ever stop and think that Boeheim is roughly two years younger than Calhoun? The two of them are both old.

JoePa didn't quit because he was worried that he would die soon after, just like Bear Bryant.

Trouble with UCon is what is above Napier's nape.

Yup. However JB seems in better health. I mean 2 years ago Calhoun was having health issues. What is a little sad is that while Calhoun and JB appear to still love their job and have no plans to leave, I am a few years young and can't wait to retire. I would love to have a job that I love that much that retirement is unthinkable. Not a lot of people really have that.

Down or not, they are a dangerous team for us. Look for them to try to get Lamb going early from outside and Melo in early foul trouble. If those two things happen, it will be a dogfight, especially if we come out flat. It would be nice to see us jump out to an early lead for once instead of going down 7 or 9 to start.

They are being crucified in the local papers. If the players have pride they will fight like heck against SU. That Louisville game was one of the worse performances for a UCONN team since Calhoun turned them around. It's oner thing to get beaten badly, hey in a 30 plus game season you can have one or two stinkers, but to show no heart is inforgiveable. A lot of creit has to go to Louisville, they took whatever will UCONN had and destroyed it. Very impressive by Louisville.

we lost to depaul by 40 in gmac's senior season.

that was the epitome of no heart.
