Very odd post by that Uconn account. I know the game was close this year and the whole Toledo staff angle but it's not like UConn and SU have been in some death struggle the past decade. SU's won every game the two teams have played and only this past seasons was close. I'd expect maybe that from A Pitt or BC account not Uconn.

Candle has done a good job getting guys in quickly but if you look at who they have brought in 70% are Toledo guys and another 10% are guys from lower schools like D2 and others. Ross and Hart are solid guys from here but Ross hasn't shown an ability to stay healthy and Hart has barely played so hard to know what they are getting there. The Tenn QB I don't know a lot about if I am being fair so maybe he can put up big numbers no idea.

And why wouldn't they. Big names don't often come to town.

But remember, this is a school and small fanbase who, on their own, created a rivalry trophy with UCF. One that UCF laughed about after beating them by a hundred each year.

I can't blame them for forcing a rival. They don't actually have a rival and there's history with Cuse and recent ongoing out of conference series. Plus now Cuse guys transferring there. They need something to get excited about. I'm glad we aren't in their position and hope we never end up there.
