UCONN post game

Tackling remains a concern but the D had four 3 and outs. 3 drives where they only had 1 first down (excluding the early TD run). They did get 3 on one of those because of the starting field position.

It’s not a great D, but good enough for this offense (which did leave a few points on the field).
I know tackling was a concern for much of the year but since Cal, has anyone besides Chestnut been caught not tackling and leading to chunk yards/TDs?

I respect just about everyone on this board but I will say this, I for one feel so fortunate for this season right now. I know you guys have suffered so much this century, and as a newer fan (2021) I'm going to savor every moment of this.

Smart man.

It is hard to believe that we had the playcalling advantage but that 4th and 2 heave to nowhere by uconn was hard to believe
Stanford did the same play against us and won the game, I think they were just trying to score quick and surprise the Cuse with the deep ball.

We are a few bad calls and about what 8 points away from 10-1 for his first year of coaching in Syracuse NY that’s pretty incredible still more work to do but this team has gotten better

A very mediocre football team with absolutely exceptional QB and WR play. We are middle tier ACC not upper , not lower, score reflects that.

don’t think we get it done next week but have a punchers chance. May be good for the team being a big dog.
This is like the opposite of the Mrs Lincoln joke
Aside from the most important thing...

This defense ain't it.

Great season while the "rookie" D Coordinator figures out that you don't get pressure on the QB or Running Games with 3 or 4 guys and trying to out-athlete the opponent when you don't have Lawrence Taylor.

Feel like he'll learn about this, and meantime it's been a fun season and we're talking to Recruits we'd prob never talked to before

The importance of the QB in CFB really shouldn’t have to be stated *shrug* and Cuse has a top 5 one.

I will say UCONN should have had a few more turnovers. Miami makes those.

That’s why if we don’t land a stud qb for next season it could be brutal with the schedule we have

Please walk up to your friends this week and invite them to Miami.

If they reply with “there are a lot of red delicious and honey crisp to be picked” please disown them.
Well, there (likely) will be snow.
