CTO must be one tough cookie, I haven't heard her whine once about the weather.

I had a friend from Florida write me how sorry he was that we were getting belted. We have been getting belted with sunshine and mild weather was my reply.

Seems funny reading about this stuff happening to Connecticut and not us for a change.

I'll take the result of that 1998 distraction any day of the week! Still remember Dan Fouts with the line about McNabb, "he's the Barry Sanders of quarterbacks". Great to see the stunned silence of their fans first hand (think that was the year after they won a NC).

Was in Southington over the weekend, area was a mess. Hotels filled with families who had no power. Areas to be without power from 2 days to 2 weeks. They had just gone through this with Irene.

Power outages in Connecticut have been very very multiple.
