Kid out of Long Island we did not offer. I liked his film. Congratulations to him.
They have now taken 2 NY players SU did not offer (also Tommy Hopkins).
Looks to me as though UConn is struggling recruiting. Taking some under the radar types, haven't been able to land much in the way of marquee players. It is still early but right now, they have the worst class in the conference. Not good getting beat head to head by Temple. Their entry into the BE is going to hurt Rutgers and UConn...it is already happening.
They are getting hurt badly in Connecticut by BC. Kind of surprising...Edsall did a much better job recruiting the home state that Connecticut native Coach P. They are hurting BC in Massachusetts though. Coach P was hurt by players regenging on their verbals during the dark last few years at Syracuse. That trend continues in Storrs.
