I can think of only three transfers we got that were good enough to make it to the NBA

Wes Johnson (Iowa State) - Minnesota

Leo Rautins (Minnesota) - Philadelphia

we got other transfers that were good players for us. Ryan Blackwell. Silent G. to name just 2.

Well, we do have Gbinije and Paschal on the roster...

G has been here for 4 years, not just 1. And Paschal will only be a soph next year.

Indeed. Jason Cipolla and Michael Lloyd were also double digit scorers. However, in JB's 40 years, there have not been many. I guess he did not favor that approach.

They don't run them out, but I'm sure the convo goes something like "you won't get any PT this year, so do what you have to do"

Actually I think it's better to be honest, tell them and let the kid decide.
