There's a PM feature where a group can hold conversations on off topic subjects if you don't want to use the Entertainment board for some reason.

I do get the need for threads to be moderated but IMO a little harmless off-topic banter within a thread is fine (especially in a thread like this that is pretty much off-topic and a thin premise to begin with).

Let's just Chicago Sunroof this whole thread.

It started as a tired "like grab", as every thread seems to be on this board, based on sketchy, yet completely glass house, assumptions and morphed into something funny one second and then somehow sinister.

INDEED! Not a quality thread to begin with(the ****ed posts[which im not directly referencing mods, so please use some restraint] actually saved it), but we digress. It's funny how the controversial(LMFAO!) part of this thread started. I had to use a word to replace a word that's useage is ****ed here(welcome to 1984), under threat of having done to me what the word is. The word I used to replace that word, "Belize", is from Breaking Bad(and the word it replaces also stars with the same letter).

Iommi, who is not one to start like bait(like the original intent of the thread), commented on it, and then others did. It was more enjoyable than the bashing of various other teams that was most of what was going on at that moment, and it drew interest from some folks. It's really that simple brothers and sisters.

Indeed, there was nothing sinister or intentional as some folks insinuate. It's hilarious the type of things ****ed from discussion when other things arent. Without Saul, the dumb thread would have died more quickly. It didnt kill the beloved Kentucky fan bashing that some folks seem to get off on, and is free to continue if folks want to! Anyhow, we've learned our lesson and will try to stick to bashing other fans being they are lesser human beings than us. Thanks for your encouragement on how to be better people, oh wise teachers. God bless America. Cant we just get along? Folks shouldnt have to copy and paste things they spend time on before hitting the "post reply" button. Our government thrives on talking about a culture without the threat of terror(vs what they actually do), why not help them with their stated goal?

I wish I'd read your simpler way of saying what I just spent a bunch of time typing in the post above this, that may or may not be there by the time I hit the post button for this if current trends continue lol. I guess if I want to take my mind of this I can just think of the miserable day of basketball that was had today, in terms of teams I'd rather not see SU facing down the line. God bless America.

I tell you what. As penance, go out there and find me a picture of a crying 8 year old from a losing team, dammit. If it's a team that has beaten SU in the last 15 years, you earn treble likes. Even if it's an SF Austin fan from tomorrow you've still done your civic duty and made us all smarter, better people.
