Very herky jerky start so far. Both teams seem to have no rythm but great athletes. Ticky Tack fouls are making this game ugly. UK seems to be getting the better of the calls right now. Gilchrist is a stud more so than Davis. I can see either team going deep in the tourny or flaking out to more fundamental teams. UK is going to be puffed up with playing a light SEC schedule. UL will have to prove itself through BE play.

Tech on Bohanen (sp) was bs early. Warn the kid and first. Big game like this should not be determined by calls like that.

It speaks to the up and down play. Very little organized bball being played. If UL can't hit the three, I am not as concerened about playing them. I really hope they pull this one out, it can only help us.
I was concerned about their center, but seeing how Melo played against Pope, I have less of a concern.

I'm assuming Behanan was given a technical for tossing the ball at Jones while Jones was on the floor after drawing the charge. That's pretty much a guaranteed tech if a ref sees it.

IMO the refs were slightly whistle-happy but fair during the first half. It's not surprising that Louisville is committing more fouls against a bigger team like UK.

L'ville doesn't give up. They have shown that all season. What they lack in talent they compensate for with leadership and effort. It looks like they are a poor shooting team which bodes well for SU, but if L'ville gets hot against SU all bets are off.
