Has to be. Could be broken if there were any great teams in the Pac 10, because Utah is even worse than BC, but there aren't.

Why did they can him anyway? I thought he was doing a great job there. Sure they were down after they lost Abrams and the thug brothers, but he was a pretty good recruiter overall. Was it internal politics? An over inflated sense of self by the SuperFans?

They'll see better days eventually, but over the long haul they're a garbage program that can't sustain any real success.

One problem for BC is their market...they're behind the Pats/Sox/Bruins/Celtics in the pecking order. When all the pro teams are doing well, BC can't crack the Boston sports fan consciousness at all. Would you rather play in Tobacco Road or Syracuse where people live college hoops, or at BC where nobody cares?

Every once in a while a miracle will happen and BC will get a player or two that will allow them to compete in the ACC, but for the most part they're a tomato can and will remain that way.
