He had a good day in a win against Pitt (22-31, 313, 2 TD, 0 INT). Then he was fine in a near win against VT when he had to come in relief (11-15, 147, 1 TD, 0 INT).
Between those two games, he had a bad day @ Miami, but didn't throw any INTs, and oh by the way Miami is the #1 defense in the country.
I still don't get it though. Good game against Pitt, and a win. Then you go to Miami and get steamrolled, with the backup QB really taking the brunt of that (3 INTs). Then you go to a true freshman for the VT game?
If you're a fan that's into the backup QB is the answer to all problems, you'd love being a UNC fan this year.
