The player ejected with 18 mins to go in the 2nd half IIRC will have to sit out the first half on Saturday>>>right?

I was looking up the rule for Flagrant 2 Fouls and all I saw was ejection from the game that it occurred in. Maybe someone else knows more and will enlighten us.

I might be mixing up the targeting rule in college football...hopefully someone will set me straight.

If I understand correctly, a regular flagrant 2 is just ejection from the rest of the game, regardless of when it occurred. If it was something involving a fight, the officials can review it after the game to determine if an additional suspension is warranted. I only caught the end of the game, so I'm not aware what took place.

Just an elbow and/or hand - no fight.
