Just got a TO and converted that into a TD to take a 20-3 lead.

That early season loss to South Carolina was a fluke. They are looking very strong. Looks like Fedora was a great hire. Glad we don't play them.

I meant to say this last week and I'm sure it came up at least thrice in the game thread but Narduzzi really is a whiny b!tch. For a football coach anyway.

And he's always yelling at that fat man on his staff.

And Blewitt just missed an extra point...,

He hit the upright against us and it bounced through for a field goal.

That offensive pass interference call against Estime was a crooked call. ACC needed SPITT to be 6-1 against 6-1 UNC to make the Coastal look OK. Cuse had to suck hind teet again.

OK now I'm officially depressed. ESPN talking about one of the most important games of the week. Notre Dame v Temple. Who would have thought?

It was PI.

They are both ranked, so it makes sense to me.

Depressing though, definitely

Agree. But he didn't need to push off to catch that pass. That's the worst part. Dungey is so accurate already on those passes, it's crazy.

The Dback on that play and many others, were grabbing the receivers all the way down the field. How can they get seperation if that's allowed.

I think pass interference is becoming a joke anyway. They can call it on just about everything, and I don't get why any kid growing up would want to play corner. The sport hates you now, this isn't Deion's world anymore.

Having said that, if the offensive guy wins the battle and clearly creates some separation at the end with his arms, he's going to get called about 90% of the time.

If Estime just keeps focusing on the ball instead of separating from the defender, he either catches the pass or clearly gets interfered with, and the call goes the other way.

He held him before the PI ... it was the only way Estime even had a shot at the ball. The defender literally was grabbing him well past the 5 yard boundary .. if anything it was offsetting ... not a 15 yard penalty on the offense.
He grabbed his shirt, should have been defensive penalty before the Offensive PI.

Pitt is 6-1, playing a 6-1 team and it's still a lousy atmosphere there in a half empty stadium.
Noticed that.. For all the flack we give ourselves, if we were 6-1 playing another 6-1 team on a Thursday Night, I have to imagine the Dome would be rockin.

He just shook his one arm free from the Pitt player who was holding it as the Pitt player turned to look for the ball, which made him slow a little. It amounted to a 65 yard penalty and broke that huge surge of momentum that the young Orange had rolling. If that had not happened and score another TD it's 14-3 and a fired up Orange blow out a meh Pitt.

Not only that, Memphis, Toledo and DOOK are top 20 teams. Ugh.
But to take it one step further and to keep it on the sunny side it goes to show that any school can put together a good football program, not only the SEC or the state schools. So that goes to show that we can get back to a relevant football program if those types of schools can get into the top 25. We can get there also.
