He is always had a ton of respect for him. His dad gumit attitude just makes him an easy target to have fun with.

He's a good coach. But the specter of 18 years of fake classes and player eligibility violations right under his nose (for part of that time) is a stain on his career that's pretty hard to ignore.

Sorry can't buy that. Yes some fans are oblivious. But the alums I've talked to didn't want their alma mater tainted with an academic scandal of this scale.
