Dunn had 10 points in the first 8 minutes, then committed his second foul. Cooley sat him the rest of the half (12 minutes) after that. You are the underdog, you need to take chances. Dunn had to come back for at least the 5 minutes of the half.

If the game was out of hand or looking like it would be I would say yes I agree. But him being rested and not in foul trouble to start the second looks like it could payoff well.

Tough call for a coach especially with a player like Dunn.

UNC doesn't play defense all 40 minutes. If they played hard defense they would be the clear favorite.

Providence is staying in this game because of the UNC D. UNC is going on runs and then they get lazy nad PC makes plays.

Roy should sit Meeks as when he is in the game PC is putting Bentil on him and allowing him to rest on D. When Hicks/Johnson are out there Bentil is struggling on D.

Ditto - kid is smooth. Seems prone to silly fouls though from the little I've seen. Surprised he didn't get more run even with 2 fouls in the first half, but with PC staying in it, probably a wise move by Cooley.

Pretty incredible that Providence has 2 of the best 3 players on the floor in this game. I realize they're Providence so beggars can't be choosers but Cooley does seem pretty clueless.

Yeah, 2 fouls in 30 seconds. The one was his head making contact with Johnson as Johnson put his elbow into his face while elevating, the second was a dude falling dude on light contact in the post. I don't know why Harlan kept talking about an arm bar, they clearly called it on the shot. He's a moron. Oh wellz, it's all on Dunn now.
