I know that play didn't lead to a TD or anything but when that ball got tipped I was thinking "Oh here we go again" with visions of NW or Minnesota, or even the Bills where that ball is picked off by the D. I knew when Sales came down with it for a catch that the football gods while maybe not on our side fully were at least easing the pressure of their boots on our necks. I think there was one other tip pass we caught last night as well where West hauled in a tipped pass for a first.
It's the little things like this that make me hope that maybe our luck at least is turning around. It takes more than luck to turn around a program, but that's a whole LOT easier when luck is on your side.
