That's what my 11U AAU basketball coach told us when he gave us our uniforms right before we went to nationals.

And then we promptly lost to a team from Utah something like 54-8. Vermont basketball sucks, you guys.

My favorite one of those days, ever, was when I was living near Boston in 2004, and the Red Sox WS parade coincided with the same weekend as Halloween. My god, that was the biggest, longest, best party ever right outside of Fenway.

I had a similar occurrence. I remember in grade school I won my weight class at my school for some city wide wrestling tournament. I didn't realize that everyone at my school was horrible at wrestling. I go into this thing thinking I have a chance, first match about 5 seconds in I'm flipped on my back, pinned and that's the end of the tournament for me.

Win some, lose some. My shirt was still better looking than his ha!
