If you want to just enjoy the games and ignore how important marketing and free press are to building the program, also fine. But it IS important. Perception, and anything that influences perception, matter.

The game is way more fun with them being ranked as well. I don’t think we’ll play another ranked team until Miami.

Who had them being the ranked team and us being the underdog on their bingo card? I like that they’re ranked, the more they feel themselves and hit the strip this week the better for Cuse who is coming in for business only.
