NCAA Recruiting Calendar says visits are allowed up to July 5th. NCAA Manual says no visits in July. How does that make sense?

OK I am confused is this for BB or FB??? Or both?

If July is a quiet period, they can still host unofficial visits. Quiet only means all contact must be conducted on the school's campus.

@DanWolken Had a few schools tell me they didn't get phone calls until this morning. Some haven't received clarification via email or phone.

Daniels is a basketball guy. The basketball recruiting calendar is different and does have a dead period in July.

Thanks. I get it now. July is a dead month for BB..no contact at all. FB is just quiet which allows unofficial campus visits. LOL. The NCAA acts and sounds like a branch of the government.
