its like businesses making thgere own rules you follow them or you dont go indoesn’t matter if they make no sense to you or someone else. SU makes the rules, not you or I.
im looking forward to SU fans acting mature enough to follow the rules regardless of their stance on them.
I’m looking forward to not going.
Not because of the rules, mostly because I’d never travel for a FCS and I’m still a little hungover from last weekend.
This is all lip service and window dressing, nothing more. goodluck enforcing when you are not selling out the placeLet's try and not get this one locked if at all possible.
Syracuse University says it will do more to enforce masking, fix Covid protocol mistakes at football games
The school said that it will make some small changes to try to increase mask compliance and ensure fans entering the Carrier Dome show proof of vaccination.www.syracuse.com

Empty stadium is a win-win, right?I would think the empty stadium social distancing tomorrow should make it ok.

You must comply. You must comply.
not sure why some of you don’t think that SU, a private university, doesn’t have the right to set the rules on their campus, in their dome. Kind of 3rd grade sounding.
Everything was fine last week with me, mask rules were loose. My group loved it, if you don’t love it then I suggest stay home or simply keep your own mask on. Too many Karen’s out there. (Sorry if you’re a nice Karen)
Zero sense?! Try harder then.Even if those rules make zero sense? And before you jump on my case, the rule of "you have to wear your mask unless you're drinking or eating" makes zero sense.
I never said they didn't have the right, but some common sense should be used when setting rules. If they want a mask rule, then don't make silly exceptions for eating and drinking because all that does is give people the wrong impression of true safety measures.
Hell, even in our legal system, we have ways to mitigate non-sensical laws. One method is Jury Nullification.
One last thing, you and I don't see eye to eye on a lot of things, and that's okay. However, I always thought the few debates we do get into we keep it cordial. Stooping down to name-calling is unlike you. I could just as easily say that complying with stupid-ass rules is 3rd grade sounding, as well, but I don't
actually it doesnt say eating and drinking it says actively eating and drinking.. implies put the mask back up in between bites/swallows as much as possible.. holding a beer doesnt mean mask stays down.Zero sense?! Try harder then.
Good first step...actually it doesnt say eating and drinking it says actively eating and drinking.. implies put the mask back up in between bites/swallows as much as possible.. holding a beer doesnt mean mask stays down.
The mask vs no mask and vaccine vs no vaccine is tiring. Syracuse makes the rules so whatever but its a sporting event. The rules are not gonna be followed ALL THE TIME. Where enforcement should happen is not people in seats but everywhere else. Getting food, restroom, etc. Whats the difference between sitting in a seat in a restaurant during mask mandate and sitting in your seat at the dome?
I miss the days when it was belly to belly and you could barely move. Idk how you enforce it, i just dont see the ushers pushing this or threatening to toss ppl unless they become aggressive. Those hallways, man belly to belly or whatever you want to call it. I have no idea how a human can enforce anything there. Just so different than all the more modern places.
