Updated RPI rankings

The ACC doesn't perform well. Our Conference Strength of Schedule is 200. Pardon my ignorance, but since the end of the NC schedule is here, doesn't that bode poorly for our future RPI.

You guys are forgetting history. RPI doesn't matter much in the ACC. No matter how bad the conference is, if you win it, you get the 1 seed, period. If you also have some good non conference wins, you get the east 1 seed.

That is pretty funny but historically accurate a 1 seed from the ACC is all but a garantee

Wow didn't realize Minnesota was 10-2 and #31 in RPI...that's gonna be a better win than I originally thought.

And California is a disappointing #72.

In any case, feels good that we lead for the overall #1 seed. Hope we can hang onto it.

This is working out wonderfully.

Buffalo and MSG for a trip to the Final 4? Yes please!!!

Yep that would give us the best chance of succeeding and making the FF. Certainly luck and other factors come in ever NCAAT but it would drastically increase our odds to have that road.

RealtimeRPI still has Syracuse fourth but predicts us to go unbeaten. They predicted a 16 point win over Nova so they know something.

Yes but they have not updated with our win against Nova yet. Also I never understood how teams with losses do so well in the RPI I know its a good los on the road against a good team but its still worse than a win.

RPI Forecast predicts we finish 25-6(12-6 ACC) and end up around 15th in RPI. Interestingly, our SOS is predicted to decline once we start playing ACC games. As of right now our SOS is 14th. By the end of the year it is predicted to be 51st. This is the exact opposite to how it turned out when we were in the BE. Our SOS would usually skyrocket once we got into league play. This is one of the downsides of being in the ACC this year.

We are #2 (to UMass) in the updated version of RealtimeRPI.

Someone send this to the guy who keeps voting us #9 in his poll. You know the one who thinks we only play cupcakes and never leave the state of NY until January.

Real time my ass...

Our RPI would go down once we start playing coference games? Wow.

No, our SOS may go down though. Whether our RPI goes down depends on how we do and where we do it.
