I believe you are off a couple of tenths of a percent. My calculations were at 94.92134

They wll have good guard play plus the AAC us as good as it will ever be this year. Next year they lose Lville and Uconn will continue to try and pipmp themselves to any major willing (that woud be none). They still have some players plus Purvis but t issue will be re0placing those guys with high level talent.

But even if they get stuck in a mid-major conference, why would that necessarily mean demise? Why couldn't they be Memphis, for instance, who is always good? (just playing Devil's Advocate, I hate UConn).

Could for sure. I think they can be one of the better midmajors but we will ahve to see.

UConn will always have a top 25 ranking as long as their consistent in being a factor in the AAC. I say this because UConn is still a brand name in basketball meaning when they play on TV people know who the hell they are. I expect UConn to be good enough to enter the NCAA tourney on a yearly basis. They will stock pile wins in their conference after the departure of Louisville. What Memphis was able to do in the C-USA, UConn will do in the AAC. Their recruiting will go down the shitter and quality of league opponents will drop drastically. Make no mistake, any glory or future is long gone for that program. They will never earn an elite status such as Syracuse or Duke. I personally hope they are mid table program in a mid major conference.

Arizona has a lot of NBA talent on their roster this year that is it. Its sorta like how Kentucky always gets ranked high. Calipari can't coach but he has NBA talent well Sean Miller has atleast shown the ability at Xavier to develop non-NBA players into NBA level players while Arizona has 3 NBA players on their roster this year. Arizona will lose games and have What losses but in March will be a tough out.
