USC Tickets and tailgate?

Just wondering if Mark was going to set something up?
Our crew is looking at ordering tix now. Not too happy with the variety of sections and lack of control over seats at the diff price ranges. Some of the seats look decent and then there are some sections that are shitty imo.
I know Mark mentioned a few weeks ago about blocking a group of tix and trying to get into some prime sections.

I suspect that not much will happen until the football season ticket purchasing window has passed. That window closes on April 13th.

I'm still waiting to be contacted about my request to add a season ticket. I'd hoped that could've been addressed after the preferred seating deadline had passed... perhaps that too is waiting for April 13th. The Spring game is only 8 days later.

My wife doesn't want to go which really surprises me so I'm going to gremlin on a plane or car and only one of you will be able to see me. I really want to go to this game.

The season ticket renewal period was changed due to the BE scheduling issues.

I suspect that the USC game ticket ordering window may be shifted accordingly. Hopefully there'll be more Fine Lot ticketing details before the university's deadline.

I'll email SU and see if I get a response. We are trying to get some sweet $65 and $95 sections set aside.

Ok here is what we are up against

SU is not the rules maker in the these Met Life games...details are still being hammered out with the NJ guys. SU still doesn't even have a group rate yet. BTW, we won't qualify for a group rate...we are just trying to get put in the same sections. To qualify for a group rate someone would have to front for all the tix...and that won't be me. LOL small difference between $20 Tulane/Akron tix vs $95 USC tix.

The SU Ticket office manager told me: "I will probably not know for another couple of weeks on the exact locations we will have (for us). I would encourage people to buy, and know that they will get the best available tickets, which is what you requested."

So bottomline my advice: Order your tickets through MyCuse right now. If we can get segregated into primo $65 and $95 sections great. I'm still requesting we get put somewhere between the 20s, on the home side in the $95 and $65 sections. BTW, the top priced open seating (non suites) will be $150.

NOTE: If you think you might put together 20 or more folks for the USC game you might want to wait a few weeks to see if group rates become available. (as suggested by the SU Box Office)

Sorry this hasn't worked out as easily as we all hoped...worst case scenario we will be scattered but hopefully we can have some awesome tailgates.
