I don't agree at all. You don't give up on the play, and there was clearly no blindside hit. Was it necessary? Hindsight says no, but it was a clean play, IMO.

It was an absolutely bonehead play. Clark didn’t have anyone within 15 yards of him with a clear path to the EZ. Absolute hammer head play by Simmons who then proceeds to talk sheeet while getting embarrassed.

Fran Brown given a C+ grade as a new HC hire. Debatable. Then we come out and lay an egg and make that grade appear generous.

You know he's not coaching this game? Please tell me you know that.

SU lost key contributors to injury and some depth to the portal and has a skeleton coaching staff

We literally have a shell of a coaching staff, missing a bunch of players, and our QBs are hurt.

Has zero bearing on these kids coming in.

I can see the media/headlines next year. Fran Brown is incredible he turned a team that got crushed 90-0 in their final game last season into a 10-win team in his first season as a head coach.
