USMNT 2025

Terrific new update from ESPN on the state of the US Men's squad, how they're doing, etc.

Something I noticed is how many of our guys are hitting their prime years for this WC. Lots of guys getting back to health. I am cautiously optimistic that this team could generate some interest.

Big time games coming up, including Senegal, the recent African champions, Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the US for the first time in 12 years, and some heavyweight teams.

Will be interesting to see if Musah can push Aidan Morris for a roster spot. Musah is more talented but his club form is absolutely horrendous so I would understand passing on him.

I think Musah, athletically and technically, is a better player.
But he doesn't always play good defense, and he doesn't always make the right decision with the ball.

What I do appreciate is that we have several options at every position now. It's not like we're scouring the German B League looking for a left back.
