UVA 3:30pm Kickoff

Haven't you guys heard of a DVR? I long ago gave up watching live Syracuse football games for similar reasons to all of you. The only trick is to stay away from your phone. You get bonus points from the ball and chain for not being on the phone the whole day.

I guess that's one bonus of not being relevant... very little risk of accidentally glancing at a tv and seeing a score.

You people need to do a much better job of brainwashing your kids to watch sports.

Yes, at any age.

My two year old loves to watch baseball and football and soccer.

They are in process. Both boys live a good hit and/or a TD, love the dome, like tailgating food, and know Syracuse is Daddy's team.

They love Josh Parris because he told them they had a good tackle on the turf after the spring game (we were telling them to chill).

My oldest (6) likes Jake Butt at Michigan because he thinks it's hilarious to have that last name.

It's the watching for 3 hours that doesn't work out well.

I am convinced that whenever I DVR a game we (yes we) lose. I just can't risk it anymore. I know there are others like me (ie insane).

My 9 month old likes to chew stuffed animal Otto's hand then bounce around on top of him. She's barely bigger than the Otto I bought her. Making progress for the future I hope. I just wonder what she will do to the real Otto if she sees him at the dome in a few years. Probably push him over the railing.

Well given how much we've lost the last decade since the inception of the DVR the odds seem astronomically high that for a given game that is dvr'd we probably lost. So you're probably not that insane... although I'd question the causality here.

Love it! Quick trip over the mountain, get set up by 10:30, 4 1/2 hours to tailgate. Plus post game celebration! So glad it's not a nooner.
