I respect that you're trying to be optimistic, but our standards are higher than just finishing higher than .500 in conference.

we are now. SU has an incredible amount of work to do to even be in bubble consideration. There are four games left where we are a probably favorite, including tonight, plus a first round ACC tourney game against a mediocre team. Projected wins are barely 17 at this point. So, with the rest on the road or against better ranked teams or both and we'll need to win 5 of them to be bubbly. At no point in Red's tenure have they shown to be able to consistently beat good teams. The big step forward this season is that we're not routinely losing by 20 or 30 points (except Iowa St.).

The only thing Autry and our guys have shown is they are consistent at playing down to competition and playing up to competition every once in awhile.

I said before that I don’t expect many blowouts with this squad. There always seems to be a hot hand or two to keep us in games.

The reason Autry is so hated is because we’ve lost 3 games where we had the ball in our hands to win it on the last possession and because he spent all game screwing with the players and substituting he lost the the hot hand and it bit us in the end.

Probably because besides Clemson, the teams we have played so far are a combined 5-17.

i understand why people are unhappy and disappointed

i dont think red is the guy

but just being objective here - the season is not over - its actually very far from there

and i also think that the cuse can beat every single ACC team, duke included - they can win or lose every game they play from here on out...

i think its silly the extrapolations that cuse struggled vs team x so that means they will automatically lose to team y

they played houston to overtime without donnie

they beat tennessee

etc

Once got stuck in Blacksburg in a snowstorm. Stayed at a Motel 8 and went to a Waffle House because I needed the closest place to stay and the only place open to eat was that Waffle House.

Next morning continued on my trip to Florida.

The people working the Waffle House were very kind.

Otherwise, I have nothing nice to say about VT or Blacksburg.

We lose this one, I’m scared the season will really start to unspool.
