Vatech opens -2.5 over Cuse…

I understand why everyone is shellshocked but Dino is in Arizona, after our first loss(against a lousy team but a last second loss) we won our next three, including road wins at UNLV and NC State. No idea what these next 5 weeks will bring but no more byes and no more Thursday/Friday ESPN games, so that is good.

I think a dude laying on his stomach and a ball falling into his hands for an interception is one heck of a freak happening.
as soon as that happened, I said to myself we aren’t winning this game. Kismet was all on Pitts side.

Supposedly the whole defense was practicing that play all week………

Agree! What are the chances that all those tipped balls are caught? The stars were definitely aligned for a Pitt win that night.
We were just a few tipped passes from a win. Who knew?

Can we get this line to +4.5, please? I would like to max bet on both of my PPHs.

Not quite as simple of a handicap as laying 5.5 with SMU was on Sunday morning but taking the points with the home dog who threw 3 pick sixes in a half against a team with an underwhelming advanced box score against the Bees is pretty damn easy.

Against the Bees?

You think its pretty damn easy? We lost 41-13. 3 pick sixes or not, that is 28 points. And they helped cause those picks. Syracuse +4 is a tough one for me. It all depends on if we think we have an offensive adjustment that will work against facing a similar defensive unit that can play a similar game plan. I'm not so sure we do. I think we can obviously do better this week, but not sure how much better.

VT has 26 Sacks, 31 PD and 7 Int's on the season.
SU has 15 Sacks, 21 PD and 6 Int's on the season for comparison purposes

Hokies had a misleading box score against the Bees last week. The better playing team didn't win. YPP and success rate in GT's favor.

Three pick sixes isn't a repeatable game script either way. Down to down the game last Thursday night was pretty even.

Not saying we win by 80 or anything but the simplest handicapping possible screams Cuse with the points. And I don't hate the matchup, especially with Tuten being a ?

I'm also down on the season despite my portfolio being CLV city so what the hell do I know

I was sitting in the end zone and when the ball literally fell into the Pitt players hands I told my wife the exact same thing.

Last three SU games I've been to in person: at Virginia Tech last year, Stanford this year, at Pitt this year.

I'm coming this weekend. If we lose, it's my fault. There is no other logical explanation. I'm turning into that guy in Bronx Tale.

My last 3 are Clemson last year, ND 2022, Pitt 2021. Lost by 17, 17, 17. Reminds me of my favorite Winger song.

Might have to change my luck by switching to only bourbon pre-game.

A friend of mine was this guy years ago. I told him he cannot come to a game unless its vs 1-AA competition. The next year he came for UB, we won 63-7, curse lifted. It's that simple.

I just picked up some knob Creek smoked maple to mix with some hot cider

No just all these posters that have only seen us get throttled recently are attending lmao
You’d think they’d show some restraint and give away their tickets!

If they lose this one the next time you go to a game the people in your row should put you in the freakin' bathroom

I know we have rarely played Va Tech since both teams were in the Big East, but they have done horribly at the Dome, last win was in 2000. Again, there haven’t been too many games in the Dome since then(two games maybe?) but I will take that stat and run with it to make me feel better!

Yup. All the VaTech pods are referring to the dome as a house of horrors in their previews. 2-8 all time in the Dome. They are well aware.
